Collaborated with Junoh Yu

Created an immersive gallery of artworks with Unity. The user is able to walk around the gallery and examine the paintings or the wonderful view from the window. Captivating sounds envelop the user when they step close to a painting, as if they are in the artworks.

Reflection

Junoh and I were both in Korea allowing us to better collaborate on our project.

One of the most interesting feedbacks I received was suggesting sounds for abstract art. What would the Starry Night sound like, or Daniel Hirst’s dot paintings? If I had to redo this project, instead of focusing on literal sounds, I would want to attempt mixing sounds for select abstract art pieces. And possibly, have the painting sounds overlap one another based on vicinity.
