The Safety Show
Contributed to the idea creation and development of The Safety Show application in collaboration with Augmented Environments Lab and DramaTech.
In 2017, Ferst Center for the Arts created the "I Feel Safe When..." campaign. Based on the information that students anonymously wrote, Dramatech created a performance called "The Safety Show". To enrich the drama experience, the Augmented Reality Lab created an application that was used during the performance.
Along with participating in Drama classes to better understand how augmented reality can improve a performance, I programmed a way for the application to detect a surface and emit particle effects in a certain area. This will be used to set the environment and better convey the tone and emotions of the scene.
